Seized oil pipe union

The oil filter supply and return pipes had to be disconnected from timing chain cover in order to remove it but one of them had seized solid. After several attempts to remove it south various grips and pliers I decided the only way to proceed was to disconnect the other end from the oil filter and remove the pipe with the cover.

Once the cover was off the car i could undo the pipe from the cover on the workbench.  I soaked the union in plus gas a few hours which released the union. Cleaned it with a wire brush and reconnected it to the oil filter.
