Clutch Bleeding – 3

I have tried several methods to bleed the clutch on the MGRV8 and also my MGB this method is by far the best, least messy and the cheapest kit involved.

I disconnected the slave cylinder so it is hanging with the bleed valve at the top to remove the air. I clampped the piston in by wrapping a cable tie around the body so the piston does not get ejected when I pumped the clutch pedal.  Then the bleeder – which has a one way valve fitted – is used to bleed out any air without letting air get in when releasing the pedal.

A good cheap bit of kit.
