MGRV8 Clutch Slave Cylinder Replacement.

Badly corroded bore means the cylinder is scrap

I was hoping the clutch slave cylinder would be a straight forward job and i would just to replace the rubbers which I had bought ready to swop …… but that was not to be the case!

The bore was very badly pitted with deep holes – I’m surprised it worked at all! Ordered a new whole unit from Clive Wheatley.

PS. The rubber kit I bought ready to use it would not have fitted! The bore size in the MGRV8 is 1″ so make sure what you get is the same bore size – there are a lot of similar looking kits but have a 7/8″ bore.
