Although the cast had just passed its mot the handbrake wouldn’t hold on the slight slope of my driveway. It seems quite a straight forward job you just need access under the floor. This means jacking up the rear of the car to allow rear wheels to turn to adjust the handbrake.

It’s just a matter of tightening the nut in the photo so on the 3rd click of the handbrake lever the rear wheels are locked. At some time in the future I will do a proper job and dismantle the rear hubs etc.
Whilst down there I took the opportunity of dabbing waxoyl on bits where the undersell had chipped off.

Maistro Models
I have a Blue RV8 and a WHite Gold RV8 models. Come up on ebat from time to time.
Have you read RV8 The Manufacturing Story?
If you hove you will realise the only way to trace RV8 history is by VIN number so your RV8 could be the second or third one ownerd bythe original onwers
I enjoy the site
