Brake Label Protection

The brake label on my MGRV8 is already a replacement for the original and they are quite expensive for what they are ….. and it was beginning to break up and the ink was starting to peel. Maybe because of a reaction to the brake fluid.

I have a laminator and some pouches so I thought to laminate the label before it breaks up completely like the original did.

Before laminating I cut the hole in the label  slightly larger to take into account the edging thickness.

If there were a next time I would cut the centre hole slightly smaller and serrated the edge to make a tighter fit around the reservoir neck.

Overall it worked out well. If I were to do it again after laminating I would cut the new hole slightly smaller and serrated the edge to grip better around the master cylinder neck.
