Silver Mesh Front Grill

Just for the record there was a white gold RV8 displayed at this year’s Stoneleigh event. It was an early car that had the smooth plastic black hoodtrim, like mine. It also had a silver painted front grill mesh, just like mine. So I wonder if the silver painted mesh was a feature of earlier cars? Both cars UK spec.

Always thought some previous owner had painted mine from black. Just a thought

Since posting this it has been pointed out to me that in fact this is a litre production car and is fitted with a chrome mesh – not a silver painted mesh. So looks like mine was painted by a previous owner.
