Doing my usual checks prior to the MOT I found that the brake lights weren’t working. I checked the circuits by a jump lead across the brake switch wires which confirmed the bulbs etc all working.
With the MOT already booked i took my MGB instead for its first test in 4 years (passed).
After removing the switch I checked across the connections with a continuity meter and the switch was not working.
Ordered a new one which arrived in a few days ago now ready for its MOT.
