MGRV8 Recommended Oils

Although put together in 1993 it can still be used to identify the equivalent – or most likely upgraded – oil from today’s wide selection of brands.

The oil I used recently for the engine was Halfords own brand having a spec of API SN & SN/CF ….. well above that specified 30 years ago in the MGRV8 handbook.
