Armrest repair

When I got the car the armrest between the seats was split – nothing serious, nothing visible but you could feel it – especially if you leant on it too much.

I decided the best way to strengthen it was with a few layers of fibreglass matting. You can see from the pics I could have done a neater job …. but it is strong.

An important tip is to make sure you mask off all the upper and edging leather to make sure the resin does not get where you don’t want it.
