Having removed the sump to replace the sump gasket there was always a chance some of the oil leaks could be from the main crankshaft oil seal. If so then this would be an engine out job!

With the sump off it was easy to remove the flywheel cover to expose the flywheel ….. which fortunately was dry ….. no sig of any oil at all 🙂 ……. so the seal must be OK.
