Bonnet Lock Clean

It’s been bugging me a while now the dirt and surface rust on the bonnet lock. I’ve delayed cleaning it because of the thought of having to disconnect the release cable. But by removing one screw and then sliding a piece of thick plastic underneath to protect the paintwork whilst using a wire brush was the solution …… one side at a time.

Well it kept me busy for half an hour on a wet day!
