Thought I would check the earths as one of them looked a bit rusty. That one cleaned up done but the other earth wasn’t tight which I found was because the thread was stripped. Obviously some previous owner had decided to check the earth terminals and over tightened it.
After removing the screws I cleaned the surfaces with a piece of fine emery and lightly covered them with di-electric grease before reassembling them.
