Well the car is over 30 years old and done nearly 50k miles so not surprisingly it’s got a bit dirty in this out of the way places. Whenever I do any work on the car (or any of my classics) I clean up the places that become accessible as I go along – eventually most of the car gets a good clean and tidy up.
Earlier this year I took the inlet manifold off to replace the leaking valley gasket and at the same time had the injectors cleaned. So whilst the radiator was out was a good time to give this rarely accessed inner front engine bay area a good clean.
