My car came with an aftermarket air filter which had always been awkward to remove a it was a bit on the large side which meant I had to remove the radiator shroud to get it out. Maybe someone in the past ditched the original K&N filter not realising they can be cleaned.
The price of the ZKC6615 part no for the MGRV8 spec air filter is over £100 but I found a similar sized alternative K&N air filter for less than half that price a RU-5111.
I ordered it, fitted it and it fits fine
