Carpet Protectors

The previous owner had bought a pair of very expensive over carpets which I want to protect from muddy boots but didn’t want to hide them under some black rubber mats.

I bought a sheet of clear table top protector via ebay and used the mats as templates. It worked well but they tended to scrunch up into the footwell being so smooth there was no grip on the carpet.

So next I bought some carpet grips – again via ebay – and after fitting them the clear protectors stayed in place …… so the job was a good one.

The clear carpet protectors keep the mats clean so I can still see and admire them without burying them under rubber mats.
