Brake Servo Back In

I eventually sourced a brand new servo that did not require an exchange and not much more than the repair kit I was originally looking at. It was in the MGOC Spares clearance sale.

The only difference from the original was the colour – black instead of being plated. I think I prefer the black as a shiney gold looking servo would show up the rest of the engine bay!

Again it took me a long time to place and then tighten up the 4 nuts securing the servo to the pedal box …. but I did using the array of tools in the photo. Now all back together again without having to bleed both the brakes and clutch systems as per the workshop manual.
