Areas of rust and corrosion

I have read that some of the most common areas that rust can be found on the MGRV8 ………

Under the car:-

Exhaust mounting hooks and brackets.

Front cross member and the sump.

Sill and mounting brackets.

Starter motor terminals.

Petrol tank – top of the tank and sender unit.

Under the bonnet:-

Expansion tank mounting bracket

Inlet manifold gasket.

Bottom of heater box.

Bodywork:-

Front header rail retaining strip on the hood.

Rear hood surround under the rear screen.

Windscreen frame a well known area

Headlamp retaining clips.
