Accelerator Cable Adjustment

Thought i would check that the accelerator cable was adjusted correctly to give full throttle movement at the engine end. The cable adjuster on the throttle is turned to give a small slack on the exposed cable.

There is an adjustable nut and bolt attached to the pedal that is adjusted to ensure sufficient travel on the pedal to fully open the throttle …… this is particularly important if you have thick secondary carpets fitted.
