The thing that stood out the most when I first opened the bonnet was the bright white bonnet clip – broken! So a replacement was added to my Stoneleigh shopping list.
Found one on a stall at stoneleigh for MGFs so they must share the same part. When I got home I gave it a good clean with water, detergent and a small brush – and it looked as good as new.
I removed the cover from the pedal housing to unclip the broken part, pushed in the replacement, refitted the cover and job done.
