Clutch reservoir empty!!

One of the first jobs I did was to check the engine fluids. All were OK apart from the clutch which was empty! ……. and looking at the “crust” around the top of the cylinder it’s been a long time since it was last checked.

I had suspected air in the clutch hydraulics system as the clutch bite was so close to the floor – if it were a worn out clutch the bite would be at the top of pedal travel.

I topped it up being very careful not to spill any as it’s in quite an awkward place. I need to check this level regularly in case there is a leak. So next job is bleeding the clutch to get the air out.
